In this episode, we discuss how language contributes to the dumbing down of society, and using an example from George Carlin is always a great choice. Gavin Newsom keeps making false claims about his record, and Dirty Soda gets a food review that is absolutely hilarious. Well, the shutdown is now in day 24, or maybe 27—who can even keep track anymore? One thing's for sure, though, I know who's to blame, and their mascot is a donkey. Nowadays, everyone with even the slightest following on social media seems to have an opinion, and some guy named Malcolm is trying to convince you that the Republicans want you to starve. I'll prove to you all that he's completely wrong and likely didn't even read the bill.It is a bill called the Shutdown Fairness Act that I will discuss with all of you. A comet or a spaceship has entered our solar system, and I hope they're friendly, lol. It's another day in the news cycle that makes me question my political leanings. The president pardons George Santos after condemning the Biden administration for doing the same, then adds student debt to the pile after calling Joe Biden's loan forgiveness plan unconstitutional. Of course, we end up listening to a very disingenuous Steven Crowder. Go to Aspire Healthy Energy Drinks – Aspire Drinks Enter promo code "STRETCH" at checkout to receive 20% off your purchase. The Democrats are continuing their PR tour across social media, TV, and podcasts, aiming to gain attention during the shutdown. Bernie Sanders and AOC are hosting a CNN town hall, JoJo from Jerz claims nothing was great under Trump, and Adam Mockler is pointing fingers at Republicans for the issues. Today, it's all about the government shutdown, the childish behavior from the Democratic Party, and the idea that it's the Republicans' fault. I tried to address this topic without using foul language, but I just couldn't. We then spent a few minutes tackling another podcast called Financial Audit, where the host, Caleb Hammer, comes across as a self-entitled, spoiled brat, and his acting skills leave much to be desired. With this rabbit hole I've decided to explore over the next 200 episodes, my plan is to respond to and call out others in this industry for the nonsense that comes out of their mouths. Today on the Kings Beat podcast, I endured poor camera quality, people walking out, and a whole lot of unrelated chatter instead of sports talk. According to the Hollywood Reporter and Success.com, the podcast space is considered oversaturated. Naturally, many famous personalities, from Marc Maron to Theo Von, have agreed with this sentiment. After listening to a "new" podcast, I'm convinced this is the fault of those very same famous people. Articles: Are There Too Many Podcasts? | SUCCESS Podcasting's Biggest Challenges? It's the 200th episode, so why not poke fun at some internet political commentators? Border czar Tom Homan takes a bribe, and a heated exchange on the House floor reveals just how much the Democrats really care about Epstein. And, of course, France does something ridiculous as usual.
